Young Choi joins ECM!
ECM is pleased to welcome Young Choi as a PhD Student. He will leverage his experience developing cardiovascular devices to develop and improve base technologies to be incorporated into existing cardiovascular tharapies.
Young Choi was born in Cookeville, Tennessee and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Louisville, where he engaged in the R&D and testing of mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices. He continued to develop MCS devices while completing research fellowships at the US FDA, RWTH Aachen, and Kinderspital Zurich. Starting August 2019, Young will join the lab of Prof. Dr. Edoardo Mazza as a PhD student.
