ECM welcomes Lorenza Garau Paganella
Lorenza is now a PhD candidate shared between the group of Prof. Mazza, and Prof. Tibbitt focusing on the synthesis of hydrogel materials to develop tunable 3D culture systems for dermal fibroblasts, allowing to investigate and modulate how different physical and chemical stimuli affect cell responses.

Lorenza Garau Paganella pursued her Master Degree at ETH Zurich in Process Engineering, with a focus on the biomedical field. Her Master’s thesis was conducted at the Macromolecular Engineering Lab (ETH), under Prof. Mark W.Tibbitt, where she worked on the development of a drug delivery system to eliminate senescent cells in the heart.
