Patrik Markovic joins ECM!
ECM welcomes Patrik Markovic who joined Prof. Mazza’s group as a PhD student. Patrik will focus on the numerical and experimental examination of distortion and residual stress development during metal additive manufacturing.
Patrik Markovic pursued his Master degree at ETH Zurich in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in the biomedical field. His Master thesis was completed at Empa - Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science & Technology, where he worked on the fatigue performance of additively manufactured Ti6Al4V lattices for orthopaedic implants.
